The members of Madness appear to be taking it in turns to miss an album. This time it's Chas, with just Suggs and El Thommo to go. Woody has only missed the half-mad The Madness offshoot album, so maybe he should also be considered an ever-present. The second four LPs were released in four hectic years with all seven members, but only two of the six studio albums since then have featured a full complement of nutty boys.
