There are 9 different animals mentioned in the title of 11 original Beatles songs, shown in the flowchart. These songs are listed below.
Hey Bulldog
I Am The Walrus
Blackbird
Blue Jay Way
Dig A Pony
Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except Me And My Monkey
And Your Bird Can Sing
Octopus's Garden
Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)
Rocky Raccoon
Piggies
Of course, Rocky isn't actually a raccoon, and Piggies is a metaphor for human behaviour. Blue Jay Way is just a street name in Los Angeles, and John isn't really saying he is a walrus. Or is he?
Conversely, Martha is named in a song title, and was Paul's sheepdog, but doesn't count for this. Teddy Boy wasn't originally released by the Beatles (1962-1970), nor Free As A Bird.
Related trivia: Apart from the animal masks on Magical Mystery Tour, only one other original Beatles album cover features an animal. There is a velvet snake on the left hand side of the Sgt Pepper cover, just above the flowers. Looks like it might be a draught-excluder. Pictured below.
