The I Want To Hold Your Hand single was released just one week after the With The Beatles album.

The only EPs to feature new tracks were Long Tall Sally and Magical Mystery Tour.

The We Can Work It Out / Day Tripper single was released on the same day as Rubber Soul.

The longest gap between any new Beatles music being available to buy in the UK was six months one week between the Rubber Soul album and the Paperback Writer single.

The Yellow Submarine / Eleanor Rigby single was released on the same day as the parent album Revolver.

Bad Boy was released on the compilation album A Collection Of Beatles Oldies.

The All You Need Is Love single was released closer to Sgt Pepper than to the Magical Mystery Tour EP.

Magical Mystery Tour was a two-disc EP in the UK, the album was released in the USA.

The Get Back single was released closer to The White Album than to Abbey Road, and over a year before the Let It Be album.

Come Together / Something was the only Beatles single to be released after the tracks were already available on an album, out on 31.10.69, over a month after Abbey Road.

Across The Universe was the only Beatles track not to have been released originally on the Parlophone or Apple record labels, appearing on World Wildlife Fund charity album No-One's Gonna Change Our World on the Regal Zonophone Records label.

The only four double A-sided singles were:
